During his official trip to Ireland this week, the Brazilian Minister of Foreign Affairs, H.E. Mr. Mauro Vieira, met with a select group of Irish companies with presence and investments in Brazil in a variety of sectors. The engaging discussion demonstrated the interest these companies have in expanding further in Brazil, as well as using the country as a base for expanding into other South American markets. This exchange was an opportunity to discuss the issues encountered and the opportunities for how Irish businesses can enhance and expand their operations in Brazil. The business meeting included representatives from: Kerry Kingspan Group ICON plc Glanbia Carbery Group Bimeda Combilift Trinity Biotech Fexco The Head of Global Markets of Enterprise Ireland and a director of Aircraft Leasing Ireland (Ibec) were also present in the meeting. Enterprise Ireland has had an office in S?o Paulo, Brazil since 2006.
